JYP Entertainment has established partner selection and operation guidelines based on the "Cooperative Company Selection and Operation Guidelines" of the Fair Trade Commission to ensure fair dealings and co-prosperity with its partner companies. By adhering to these guidelines, the company aims to secure transparency in all aspects of cooperative transactions, providing equal and fair cooperation opportunities to all partner companies and pursuing mutually beneficial partnerships.
JYP Entertainment has established a Partner Code of Conduct to strengthen compliance management, forming the foundation for mutual growth with our partners. This code outlines the values and behavior guidelines that members must follow. Based on the 'RBA Code of Conduct' and other global guidelines, it includes respect for workers' fundamental human rights, safety and health, environmental protection, corporate ethics, and management system standards.
JYP Entertainment respects and supports international human rights standards such as the 'UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights,' 'UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights,' and 'OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises'. We strive to protect the human rights of all stakeholders. As part of this initiative, JYP Entertainment has enacted a human rights management policy that applies to every stakeholder linked to the company—including all members of the headquarters, subsidiaries, and overseas branches, as well as business partners, users, and local communities—and is actively advancing human-rights-focused management in line with this policy.
JYP Entertainment operates a variety of human rights grievance handling and reporting channels to manage employee grievances promptly and transparently. Through the JYP Grievance Survey and the employee-led human-rights group “Our JYP,” we collect and review feedback on working conditions, HR matters, and other concerns. In addition, the JYP Public-Interest Reporting System receives reports of corruption, sexual harassment, bullying, and other misconduct; this channel is encrypted to ensure anonymity. By maintaining grievance-handling and reporting channels that every member can use with confidence, we protect the rights of complainants and whistle-blowers and contribute to a trusted organizational culture.
JYP Entertainment strives to create an environment where everyone can enjoy entertainment safely. To achieve this, the company established an Occupational Health and Safety organization in 2022 and implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Additionally, an Industrial Safety and Health Committee was formed to serve as a communication channel for safety-related matters, deliberating and making decisions on occupational health and safety issues on a quarterly basis. The committee discusses various topics, including compliance with safety regulations and the management of workplace hazards and disease prevention. Moreover, to respond promptly to emergencies, JYP Entertainment operates the JYPKIMI (Safety Response Autonomous Organization) with designated evacuation guides and emergency response personnel for each department and area. This ensures swift and effective responses in case of emergencies.
